RICHARD GALLAGHER, DC:
DR. GALLAGHER is a graduate of Purdue University and Palmer College of Chiropractic (Cum Laude). Licensed in NC and SC, DR. GALLAGHER is a Diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and a Member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. As a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician, DR. GALLAGHER's experience has taught him that the same technique is not appropriate for everyone. You will receive specialized attention and treatment that is most appropriate for you.
Post graduate studies in orthopedics, neurology, rehabilitation, x-ray evaluation, pain relief, treatment of fibromyalgia, scoliosis, whiplash, pediatrics, nutrition and weight loss.
An avid tennis player, DR. GALLAGHER was not always a chiropractor. Working in Dallas, TX as a systems analyst for a large telecommunications firm, he hurt his back while playing tennis. He saw his PCP and was prescribed meds which of course gave him relief. But after some time the meds wore off and the pain was back. Unable to play tennis he decided to seek out a chiropractor.
Being a very analytical person, the chiropractic model of care made sense and soon he was back on the court. That experience had such a profound effect that a few years later he moved to Davenport, Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic (The Fountainhead of Chiropractic).
Long story short, DR. GALLAGHER now has been earning the trust of thousands of patients in the South Charlotte area since 1997. Still very active playing USTA tennis, DR. GALLAGHER utilizes a 'team' approach to care utilizing an active patient care program that is taylored to the specific needs of the patient. DR. GALLAGHER states "The patients that take responsibility for their health have the best outcomes".
Now understanding the additional health benefits of chiropractic and a natural healthy lifestyle, DR. GALLAGHER tries to instill a healthy lifestyle into all his patients.

She was born and raised in Upstate New York where she completed a 2 year program in Therapeutic Massage and Integrated Health Care. While in college, Nikki was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence and graduated at the top of her class. She moved to Charlotte in 2013, now holds licensure in both NY and NC and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
For the last seven and a half years, Nikki has focused on growing her practice and honing in on the techniques that she feels it takes to execute an effective massage. Nikki offers an array of modalities including prenatal, hot stone, deep tissue, Swedish massage, and Raindrop Therapy.
Though she very much recognizes the relaxation benefit of massage, Nikki’s main goal is therapeutic. She encourages her clients not only to get regular massage, but is also a huge advocate of holistic health in other arenas (ie: chiropractic, acupuncture, stretching, clean eating and ridding your body/lifestyle of toxic chemicals) Through her own journey with becoming a healthier being, Nikki has fallen in love with alternative healing.
She began using Young Living Essential Oils to support her digestive system when she was in college and has fervently studied them ever since. The various ways she has seen these oils work in people’s lives has astounded her and she is excited about sharing them in our office. As a woman of faith, Nikki believes God created our bodies with the ability to heal themselves; it is up to us to recognize the importance of self-care and improve the conditions in which we live.

This was my second episode of symptoms so bad that I could not work. The first time I turned to an orthopedic clinic for help. It was very slow going for relief. I had always heard good things about chiropractic treatment. The second time around I called Dr. RICHARD GALLAGHER at GALLAGHER Chiropractic after 6:00pm at his office. He saw me the next morning and afternoon and continued to treat me with adjustments and heat therapy. I was walking straight within a few days and pain free within a few weeks. I highly recommend GALLAGHER Chiropractic.
