Addressing Neck Pain at its Root with Our Chiropractor in Charlotte

A truly incredible part of the body's structure, the neck, which consists of various soft tissues and the delicate cervical portion of the spine, is responsible for supporting, moving, turning, and nodding the weight of the head each and every day. Neck pain can sometimes be difficult to treat because it is a symptom of an underlying physical condition or injury such as whiplash, sprains and strains, muscle tension, poor posture, arthritis, herniated discs, and degenerative disc disease. Most often, doctors and patients simply mask neck pain with potentially harmful medications, rather than diagnosing and treating its underlying cause. Our chiropractor in Charlotte will perform a complete physical evaluation and patient interview to determine the underlying cause of the patient's neck pain in order to prescribe a personalized treatment plan to specifically address the injury or condition causing the pain.

Our wellness plans take a three-prong approach, first managing pain, secondly focusing on proper healing, and finally continuing wellness treatment to prevent future symptoms. Most of our patients experience relief and improvement of symptoms immediately following their first adjustments. Everybody, however, is different and will have an equally unique response to chiropractic treatment. Our chiropractor works with each patient independently to monitor progress, healing, and symptoms as they improve. In response, he will adjust techniques and recommendations throughout a patient's wellness plan and treatment schedule, potentially recommending any combination of holistic treatments and therapies from our comprehensive list including spinal adjustment, massage therapy, orthotics, cold laser therapy, cervical decompression, Kinesiology taping, and more.

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "This was my second episode of symptoms so bad that I could not work. The first time I turned to an orthopedic clinic for help. It was very slow going for relief. I had always heard good things about chiropractic treatment. The second time around I called Dr. RICHARD GALLAGHER at GALLAGHER Chiropractic after 6:00pm at his office. He saw me the next morning and afternoon and continued to treat me with adjustments and heat therapy. I was walking straight within a few days and pain free within a few weeks. I highly recommend GALLAGHER Chiropractic."
