Back Pain

Our mission here at Gallagher Chiropractic and Wellness Center is to increase the health and well-being of every patient we see in our clinic. Whether you’re suffering from back pain, another form of discomfort, or an acute injury, we have the expertise and compassionate approach to transform your life by healing your body. If you’re seeking relief from your spinal pain, and maximum wellness overall, we can help.

What is Back Pain?

Back pain can be chronic or have a sudden onset. Prescription medications may mask the discomfort but do little to address the source of the issue. Pain of any kind is often an indication of a deeper issue. Bulging or herniated discs, nerve compression and injury to the vertebrae, surrounding soft tissue may trigger discomfort in an individual’s upper back, mid-back, lower back, shoulders or neck. The spinal column can easily be injured and chiropractic adjustments and specialized treatments can realign the spinal column and reduce pressure on sensitive nerves while promoting healing in damaged areas.

Those with back pain may also experience limited range of motion, muscle spasms, stiffness and more. A holistic approach to back pain management can improve the quality of life for many patients and speed recovery from specific injuries

Women with low back pain in Charlotte

f you’ve been experiencing lower back pain, whether acute or chronic, our highly qualified chiropractor in Charlotte, Dr. Richard Gallagher, can help. We work diligently to find the root cause of your pain, then craft a treatment plan that will alleviate it as soon as possible. Rather than simply treating surface symptoms, our chiropractor in Charlotte always searches for the true cause. That way, we can be sure to heal your pain as much as possible, then craft the right maintenance plan to keep it that way.

Signs, Symptoms, and Treatments of Lower Back Pain

If you’re experiencing severe back pain, there’s probably no doubt in your mind what’s going on. Sometimes, however, the signs and symptoms are less clear. If you periodically feel numbness, tingling or burning in your back, that could be a sign that something is wrong with your lower back as well. Don’t wait for the pain to strike to learn more about treatment options.

Our comprehensive list of services for back pain management includes chiropractic care, rehabilitative care, acute and maintenance care, low level light therapy, cervical decompression, kinesiology taping to support injured or stressed areas, spinal and postural screenings, lifestyle advice and more. If you suffer from any type of lower back pain, we have a treatment for you.

Patients Can Feel the Difference

Back pain can make it hard to work, drive and enjoy quality time with others. Patients appreciate the results they have experienced from their treatments at Gallagher Chiropractic and Wellness Center. Pamela D. shared:

“This was my second episode of symptoms so bad that I count not work. The first time I turned to an orthopedic clinic for help. It was very slow going for relief. I had always heard good things about chiropractic treatment. The second time around I called Dr. Richard Gallagher at Gallagher Chiropractic after 6:00 pm at this office. He saw me the next morning and afternoon and continued to treat me with adjustments and heat therapy. I was walking straight in a few days and pain-free within a few weeks. I highly recommend GALLAGHER Chiropractic.”
